I really like your quote. It is very close to what I discussed in my application about passion. Good Teachers are just one of the tools that can be used. If we all just, "I think I can we can make such a diffirence.
I hope that we, as a society can remember that the second part of this quote... "... they will succeed beyond THEIR wildest dreams." As teachers we must remember to honor the work of the child, respect their labors and their play, and encourage their efforts at competence, independence and interdependence. We need to be mindful that we not interpret their behavior through our adult jaded lenses.
